This fantastic piece entitled 'Hold the Line' was created by Cornish artist Glyn Macey.
Glyn completed an HND in Graphic Design at Falmouth School of Art, but later ‘retired’ from designing in 1988 in order to focus his efforts on painting. Inspired by the beautiful Cornish coastline, Glyn uses acrylic, pencil and other mixed media in order to capture the unique essence of his native landscapes.
Much of Glyn’s work can be seen in collections worldwide as well as selected galleries around the UK.

Michael Frith

Michael Frith
This incredible piece ‘Stitch in Time,’ was created by one of the country’s finest watercolourists Michael Frith.
Michael graduated from Canterbury College of Art with a BA (Hons) and has since made a name for himself by creating beautiful marine inspired pieces as well as seascapes and portraits. He has worked with numerous national publications including Newsweek, Time Magazine and The Times as well having a weekly slot in The Sunday Times ‘Profile’ feature.
Michael’s work is also exhibited in Smith’s Gallery, the National Portrait Gallery and the Bank of England.

Suzanna Lance

Suzanna Lance
This stunning piece entitled ‘Racing 2’, was created by Suzanna Lance who was born in Kuching Sarawak, Malaysia.
She started her career as a supervisor in the jungles of Borneo, helping indigenous tribes set up co-operatives. After several years of travelling, Suzanna settled in Devon where she began pursuing her love for art. She turned professional in the early 1990s and since then her work has been exhibited in galleries around the South West and at art fairs in London.
Suzanna’s work was placed at the Royal West of England Autumn Exhibition and she has also been awarded the Knight Frank Award at the SWA Open Exhibition.

Sheena Wilson

Sheena Wilson BA (Hons)
This was painted by Scottish artist Sheena Wilson, a keen biker and walker.
Sheena studied BA (Hons) Fine Art at the University of the Highlands and Islands and now works as an artist at her studio in Boat of Garten, exhibiting locally and nationally. Inspired by the environment and part time work up Cairngorm Mountain where Sheena drives the funicular and in the summer is also a Walk @ the Top guide.

Timeless Pursuit
Kevin Cooper

Kevin Cooper
This fantastic piece entitled 'Timeless Pursuit' was created by Cornish artist and keen surfer Kevin Cooper.
Kevin was originally from London, but escaped to Cornwall soon after finishing school in order to be nearer the sea. After a few seasons in New Zealand, Kevin decided to relocate there to study Graphic Design. Realising he could combine his passion for both art and surfing he managed to land a job in a surfboard printing factory, and has continued this line of work since 1989. He now works primarily in the UK and has recently been commissioned to produce a range of graphic t-shirts for Fat Face High Summer Collection.
Kevin’s work, which is heavily inspired by the surf scene, combines the printing of photography or hand drawn graphics onto layers of old magazines and newspapers cuttings.

Hannah Nightingale

Hannah Nightgale
Our very own Assistant Manager from the Fat Face Lymington Store has created this beautiful piece entitled 'Yacht Race' .
Hannah, who has lived on the South Coast throughout her childhood, is heavily inspired by the sea and enjoys capturing her passion for it in her paintings. She loves to make use of vibrant colours in her work as well as using mixed media and collages of different paper in order to create texture and layering.
Hannah has now graduated from the Winchester School of Art and currently works in her local Fat Face store and continues to enjoy painting in her spare time.

Anna Boulton

Anna Boulton
This gorgeous painting of the maxi yacht Leopard was created by internationally renowned artist Anna Boulton from Sussex.
She gained a BA Hons in Fine Art at the Falmouth College of Art and Design, and completed part of her degree at L'Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice. A keen sailor from a young age, Anna has sailed across the Atlantic to luxurious destinations around the world as crew on super maxi yachts. She’s spent time in Dubai, New Zealand and the Caribbean and has finally got the chance to combine her love for art and sailing. She is now commissioned by yacht owners to produce paintings of their boats.

Kayleigh Munn

Kayleigh Munn
This gorgeous piece entitled ‘Summer Days’ was created by Kayleigh Munn, a proud Fat Face crew member! Kayleigh has worked for Fat Face for a year and a half, both in store and at head office, but she also has a real passion for art and photography. She studied Art and Design at GCSE and A-Level and loves to paint images of West Witterings in her free time, a place she has visited since she was a child.
In this piece Kayleigh has used her own photography along with acrylic paint to create a mixed media collage. She hopes to have captured her interpretation of the brand motto ‘Life is out there’ in this example of her work.

Trinity Mitchell

Trinity Mitchell
This cool piece of artwork entitled ‘Map’ was created by Trinity Mitchell a Textile Design Student at University College Falmouth.
Trinity loves to draw, especially with ink and paintbrushes, turning her drawings into patterns which she then screen prints onto fabric. Trinity has made various t-shirts, bags and tea towels from these printed fabrics, but she would love to eventually create dresses from her designs.
Her work can be inspired by anything from a nice pair of shoes or a good book to people in the street and interesting photographs.
